This is a question that should only have one answer! As James explains: “Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them … The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:15-20).
We ask you to put the following on your prayer list:
* The purchase of a new church property and the future of our congregation, especially after a relocation.
* The church committee – for having to take difficult decisions on the way forward.
* The SACC has asked all the churches in South Africa to use 5 May as a national prayer day. (See the attached letter). Let us specifically pray for the national elections – 29 May.
* Also be vigilant in your prayers for those who suffer the tragedy of war, in particular the people of Ukraine, Israel, and Palestine.
