May 28, 2024Our Church Committee will have a quarterly meeting on Wednesday, 1 May 2024, at the house of Elsa Graser. The relocation of our congregation to George is an important point on the agenda. We will provide feedback on Sunday, 5 May, after the worship service.
We also welcome Pastor Wolf von Kilian as a newly elected Church Committee member. May your wisdom be a blessing not only to our committee, but also for the congregation.
Help is needed for the Kindergarten in Dysselsdorp:
The circumstances at the Kindergarten are challenging. The social worker has informed us that their monthly state subsidy will only continue from mid-May due to budget regulations from the Department of Social Welfare. Numerous children in their care are dependent on the meal they receive at the school. (For many this is the only food they eat daily!) Currently the personnel are using their own funds to care for the children.
Should you be in a position to assist with produce, please bring your parcel to the worship service of 5 May. Clothes for the children are always welcome.
In the week of 6 May, Pastor Ronell will visit the Kindergarten and bring whatever has been collected.
