May 1, 2024The Church Committee (KV) thank everyone present at the AGM. For those of you who could not attend, we provide the following summary of important decisions which were taken at the AGM.
Short Summary of Decisions:
* The budget for 2024 has been approved. Income: R 670 000.00, Expenditure: R 1 070 000.00. The R 400 000.00 shortfall is earmarked for renovations to be executed on a possible new church premises and will be taken from the capitalized interest from the Church Ground sale.
* The Church Committee has been tasked to do the necessary negotiations and deal with the legal and financial requirements regarding the purchase of the property c/o Cross & Progress Streets.
* The Church Committee will engage with the Cape Church Council to ask for an extension of the employment of Pastor Ronell Bezuidenhout for another three years.
* Wolf von Kilian has been elected onto our Church Committee. Welcome on board!
Jutta Herrmann and Martin Detering were re-elected for another two years. Susanne Juling and Elsa Graser continue with their terms.
