Join our Monthly Bible study!

We have an active Bible Study Group that meets once a month at the house of Elsa Graser. Because it is our dream that this group can grow, we have changed the name, “Seniorenkreis.” to Bible Study Group. Anybody may attend – old or young!
If you should wonder why you should join the Bible Study Group, here is a testimony from one of the regular participants:

Gerhard Eggers:

“I found a need to deepen my faith and get to know the Bible better. I felt that something was missing, and I had many unanswered questions. I thought that attending a Bible study group would address this, so I joined..

I soon realized; I should have done this a long time ago. After my first attendance, I wanted to know more and do this again. I leave the group being inspired, thinking “dit was nou lekker”.

Here was a group of friendly people who could provide encouragement and support. They sing and pray and read the Scripture, then engage in discussions in a meaningful way and this gives new perspective and a deeper understanding of the Scripture. By listening to each other and discussing different interpretations you grow in your understanding of what the Bible has to say and gain wisdom from others as you ask questions. There is a sense of trust amongst the members to also be able to discuss personal situations and gain strength.

Every time I come home and reflect on what I have learned. – not to mention the cookies and coffee afterwards.”

The last Bible Study for 2023 will be on TUESDAY, 5 DECEMBER. (Please notice the changed date). 09:30, 4 Witpeer Ave. Heatherlands.

We invite everybody to come, but please – if possible – bring a small Christmas present (not more than R30 pp).
