Building a Christian Community: Spreading Faith Through Words and Deeds
JOIN US IN MAKING A DIFFERENCE – TOGETHER, WE CAN IMPACT LIVES AND SPREAD LOVE.
Join our Winter Project
In 2009 the United Nations officially declared the 18th of July as “International Mandela Day”.
Churches have also joined this initiative with projects that focus on community care. This year we are collecting “winter woollies” for the pre-school children of Dysselsdorp.
You can bring your donations (jerseys, scarves, blankets etc.) to the Sunday worship service on 16 July.

WE HAVE GATHERED FOR THIS PURPOSE
Clothes for people in need
Mrs Heidi Booysen from the Kindergarten in Dysselsdorp contacted us for assistance. They are gathering clothes for people in need – especially winter clothing (particularly women’s and children clothing).
Please, please go through your cupboards, and should you know of friends/families with children from various ages, kindly ask them if they have clothes that they could donate to this project. You can bring the clothes with you (either to the Bible study in George, or the Sunday Service – see dates below). You are welcome to make a donation for us to buy essentials on your behalf.

Erntedankfest - 1 October 2023
We celebrate the gift of a new season, and the gift of life! This is a festive occasion by bringing a thanksgiving basket to church. This year the non-perishables were donated to the Emmaus Center in George.
