Through the ages Psalm 147:3 has been a beacon of hope for many who felt the weight of the world pressing down on them. Is it not true that we all need constant reminding that God’s compassion and love are not distant, but reach into the depths of our sorrow?
This is the strong message of our Christian faith!
Our watchword of the month is a powerful message of hope. True hope is contagious. Where hope is embraced, it also inspires. As followers of Jesus we are not only to be the peacemakers, but we are also the bearers of hope in our community.
May this August be a month of hope, healing and harmony wherever you may find yourself.
