A warm and colourful witness of Christ’s love

Pastor HP von Fintel from East London heard about the jerseys and beanies Pastor Ronell’s mother knitted which we sent, together with other clothes to the Angel Faces Pre-school in Dysselsdorp.

Pastor von Fintel wrote the following message to her:

“On 2 June 2024, during the worship service, the St. Andrews Altar Room was filled with 422 blankets, knitted jerseys, scarves and beanies that were entrusted to us by the Gonubie Sweet Pea’s. These were all knitted by wool that was donated by many individuals and organizations. Over the last 7 years the St. Andrews Congregation, together with other churches, have distributed over 2000 blankets. Over 2000 people have been wrapped in the love of God. In this way those who donated the wool, the eager knitters, and thedistributors, have shared God’s abundant blessings by providing safety, loving warmth, and comfort.”
