As a faith community we not only share in the joys of fellow brothers and sisters, but we also want to comfort, encourage, and pray for one another in difficult times. Many of our members are getting older and frailer – please keep them in your prayers.
We ask you to put on your prayer list:
- Prayer of gratitude: we are grateful for the purchase of the property @ Cross/Progress Street.
Ask God’s blessing upon the process of registration as a communal property.
▪ The meeting of the three church committees of the Southern Cape Lutheran congregations in June.
▪ This newsletter was written before our national elections on 29 May. We do not know what the future holds, though we know the future belongs to God. Pray for any possible unrest; for the leaders of our country.
▪ The George Tragedy is still fresh in our minds: so many households have been disrupted by the loss of a breadwinner – pray for God’s grace and care towards them. Also pray for the survivors who still have to recover from injuries.
