CAPE CHURCH ACTIVITIES (CCW) - 2023

The following dates for CCW meetings and other Cape Church activities (CCW concern) are planned and confirmed by the congregational venues. (The CCW is the Circuit Conference West (Dekanat), of which our congregation is a member):

1. Saturday 4th of Feb. `23, 9h00 at Strand Street - CCW meeting focusing on youth and young adults (all others are welcome as well) under the theme "Church in Motion".

2. Sunday 5th of March: our annual Church Day of all CCW congregations. Time and venue will be announced.

3. Saturday 20th of May `23, 10h30 at St. Martini - CCW AGM for all elected CCW delegates, pastors and other Cape Church officials.

4. Saturday 19th of August `23 - Pre-synod CCW meeting (organized by the Synod), time and venue to be confirmed.

5. Synod : 13th - 15th of October `23

Furthermore, we would like to remind our congregations of the obligation to have (new or re-elect) CCW delegates nominated and elected at their respective congregational AGM.

Training for Church Committees: Pastor HP von Fintel has offered his expertise to train Church Committees on church law and constitutional Cape Church matters. Please be in contact with Pastor HP (hpvonfintel@gmail.com ) or myself (hexriver@mweb.co.za ).
